General Manager
The General Manager will oversee an apparel company's full range of business operations, focusing on growth, efficiency, and product quality. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the apparel industry to drive operational excellence, foster team collaboration, and ensure the company’s objectives are met.
General Manager Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations across all departments, including production, sales, marketing, and logistics, ensuring each aligns with the company’s strategic goals.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and support department heads and key personnel to optimize team performance and encourage professional growth.
- Production and Supply Chain Management: Collaborate closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitoring expenses to meet financial goals.
- Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor KPIs for each department, ensuring consistent performance reviews and improvements.
- Customer Experience: Oversee customer service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
- Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, quality standards, and sustainability goals.
- Market Positioning and Growth: Work with the marketing and sales teams to identify new growth opportunities, trends, and strategies to strengthen the brand’s market presence.
General Manager Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in management, with a significant portion in the apparel or fashion industry.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a collaborative environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of apparel production, supply chain logistics, and retail operations.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience in budget planning, financial analysis, and cost management.
- Problem-Solving: A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced industry and manage varying work hours as needed.
General Manager Preferred Qualifications
