Plant Manager
We’re looking for an experienced precision component automotive/aerospace Plant Manager with a proven track record in business transformation and operational excellence to lead a strategic turnaround at our facility. This individual will be responsible for driving production, quality, safety, and supply chain improvements to optimize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role demands a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on involvement to reposition our operations, foster a culture of efficiency, and enhance cost management. Plant Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute turnaround strategies, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Enhance profitability by aligning production with market demands and optimizing resources
- Oversee daily operations with a focus on quality, timely delivery, and safety compliance
- Manage plant budgets, control costs, and collaborate on procurement for cost-effective sourcing
- Develop a high-performance team culture through mentorship and continuous development of plant staff
Plant Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred
- 8-10 years of manufacturing leadership experience, with a strong background in turnaround environments
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, team leadership, and financial management
- Strong communication, discretion, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to create and maintain an engaged, collaborative, and high-performing work culture
- Ability to speak Italian and/or Japanese
