Sous Chef Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate with new, appealing dishes to enhance our menu offerings as needed.
- Organize and schedule kitchen operations to ensure seamless functionality.
- Create top-quality dishes that meet both our menu standards and client expectations.
- Design dishes that balance visual appeal with exceptional taste.
- Train and guide kitchen staff to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Maintain order and professionalism in the kitchen at all times.
- Assist in creating custom tasting menus for special events (weddings, corporate gatherings, etc.).
- Develop cross-marketing strategies, like food and drink pairings, to boost revenue.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards from ingredient prep to final plating.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues to avoid disruptions.
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, food management, nutrition, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in high-volume food production or catering.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
