Sous Chef Requirements:
- 3+ years in a similar role in a full-service restaurant
- Hands-on leadership style
- Detail-focused, high-energy, and guest satisfaction driven
- Passionate about food
- Skilled in building, leading, and developing one's team
- Effective and clear communication skills, verbal and written
- Complete understanding of P&L cost control strategies, and labor cost management
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Back of the House
- Creativity will be limited at first.
- Mentor and develop staff through training and coaching
- Deliver feedback and hold the team accountable to all standards
- Ensure the restaurant is compliant with all health department regulations
- Ensure guests have a great food experience and look forward to returning
- Thrive in a high-volume location
