Job Summary

The Executive Sous Chef collaborates with the Executive Chef to ensure our team delivers exceptional dining experiences, maintains high morale among staff, and meets profitability goals.


Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Executive Chef and General Manager to manage kitchen operations, staff performance, and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor kitchen staff, setting performance objectives and ensuring high standards of professionalism.
  • Manage food and labor costs, control inventory, and ensure profitability.
  • Monitor food quality, conduct tastings, and maintain consistency.
  • Uphold stringent sanitation and safety standards, including Health Department compliance.
  • Optimize kitchen efficiency through effective scheduling and procurement of seasonal ingredients.
  • Train staff on menu knowledge and kitchen protocols.

Executive Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef, ideally in a high-volume or fine-dining setting.
  • Culinary degree preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen, ability to manage costs and ensure profitability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Executive Sous Chef Compensation:

  • Competitive Salary (90-110k)
