Bar Manager Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and schedule bar staff.
  • Develop guest loyalty and maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Manage liquor costs versus sales to ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate with liquor vendors to create promotions.
  • Update seasonal menus and maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Negotiate with vendors, handle inventory, and manage cash.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee nightly operations and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Solicit and act on guest feedback.
  • Monitor and supervise bar areas for efficient operation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
  • Conduct daily meetings and ongoing employee training.
  • Recognize outstanding performance and address issues professionally.
  • Conduct monthly beverage inventory and cost calculations.


Bar Manager Qualifications:

  • Must have worked at a Gay bar in the past.
  • 2+ years of Bar Manager experience.
  • 2+ years of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable managing a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Warm, welcoming, and professional attitude.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Knowledge of local and state regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator).
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Relocating to Miami Beach, FL (if not local).
  • Knowledge of Toast POS is a plus.


Working Hours:

  • 8-10 hour shifts.
  • Night Shift and Weekend Shift required.
  • Blackout Holidays required.
