Job Summary

Our client's rapidly growing and well-established steel erection company seeks an experienced and hands-on Commercial Construction Risk Manager. The organization builds structural steel frames for single-story, multi-story, mixed-use commercial, and warehouse spaces. Pre-construction and planning through the final closing, you will work with the team to ensure smooth and safe delivery of all projects and mitigate risk on the site level, as well as company-wide.

Risk Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related Commercial Construction Risk Management experience. Structural steel, preferred.
  • OSHA 500 or 510 Certification, preferred
  • OSHA HAZWOPER, preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  • Computer aptitude- proficient in MS Office, Smart Sheets and Drop Box
  • Extensive background in safety audits, inspections, investigations, and general site safety paperwork
  • Experience with high profile, complex projects including state and federal projects and government compliance
  • Experience with cranes, preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • BA Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field, preferred
  • Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or other relevant certifications, preferred.
