Structural Engineer Requirements and Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering design
• Proficient in structural design software such as RAM Structural Systems, RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, and CAD tools
• Experience with Revit 3D Modeling Software, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Ability to perform analysis and design of residential and commercial buildings, including wind, seismic, earth, and gravity load calculations
• Skilled in designing with reinforced concrete, precast, structural steel, masonry, and wood construction materials
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes
• Ability to manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules effectively
