Culinary Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and motivate your kitchen team to consistently meet high standards
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with all kitchen staff while holding them accountable
  • Stay hands-on and being proactive, overseeing every aspect of kitchen operations
  • Keep kitchen operations running smoothly in a fast-past, high-volume environment
  • Manage prep lists, recipe adherence, and waste management to maintain efficiency and consistency

Culinary Manager Qualifications:

  • At least 3 year of experience in a full-service restaurant Kitchen Manager role in a high-volume, systems-drive casual or upscale-casual environment
  • Strong leadership skills with coach-mentality, leading by example and fostering a positive team dynamic
  • Proven track record of maintaining high standards, exceeding expectations, and building relationships
  • Experience with inventory management and ordering
  • Commitment to safety and sanitation standards at all times
