SNF Director of Nursing Qualifications:

• 3+ years as a Director of Nursing in a Medicare Certified SNF
• California RN License in good standing
• CCRC experience is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Medicare Part A Reimbursement, Title 22, OBRA, Care Planning, 3.0 MDS, and HIPPA
• Inspirational leadership style that drives a culture of quality care
• Proven conflict resolution excellence
• Excellent IV skills and ability to start peripheral IV’s, handle all types of central lines, and administer both hydration and antibiotic IV orders

SNF Director of Nursing Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day clinical operations to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance
• Hire, train, develop, and supervise clinical staff
• Create, develop, and maintain QAPI and all other nursing policies and procedures
• Communicate with staff, residents, and families providing encouragement and care coordination
• Promote a team spirit among the nursing staff and other facility personnel
• Prepares the facility for successful surveys
• Assist with developing and implementing Quality Assurance programs
