Our established high volume fine dining restaurant in the Penn Quarter district is seeking a James Beard aspiring Executive Chef to take our program to the next level! Executive Chef Qualifications:

  • 3 years of Executive Chef level experience in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant
  • Strong events/catering experience-$5million+
  • Creative ability to develop international/global cuisine menus
  • Strong P&L, cost control and systems experience
  • Servant leader and teacher, empowering others to be their very best
  • Team player with the ability to take direction and think outside the box

Executive Chef Responsibilities: 

  • Lead/Coach/Develop the culinary team to excellence
  • Assume the face of the culinary program, participate in PR/marketing events featuring the Chef
  • Work towards and contribute to the success of the restaurant's reputation, including potential James Beard and Michelin recognition
  • Direct the food preparation activities for all service periods and special events with established recipes, production procedures, timing, portion control, and quality and presentation standards
  • Oversee all culinary operations and admin-vendor relations, inventory, department budget, expense control, hiring, department HR and payroll
  • Must be able to communicate well with the leadership team and team members in a positive manner


Executive Chef Benefits:

  • Strong Base Salary-110-125K DOE
