Job Summary
We are seeking the best Executive Chef in the Houston area. Our executive Chef will be the face of the restaurant in many ways. This will be a fine-dining California-style restaurant using the freshest local ingredients. Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Culinary operations including culinary standards and quality
- Menu development
- Source and develop relations with local farmers and purveyors
- Being the face of the restaurant
- Ability to plan and execute wine dinners and cooking classes after a successful opening
- Team management and development
- Finance
- Health & Safety
- Supporting the overall business operations.
Executive Chef Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Fine Dining farm-to-table restaurant.
- Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success
- Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, and employee management
- Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- NRO experience
