Sous Chef Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous chef in an upscale dining environment with sales volume exceeding $5M
- Servant leadership ability, strong passion to coach and develop, hospitality 1st mindset
- ServSafe Food Safety Manager certification
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure all dishes meet high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency through regular taste tests and quality checks
- Oversee ordering, storage, and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure cost-effective purchasing and minimal waste
