Tax Manager Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certification: CPA or equivalent required
• Experience: 4+ years in tax-related roles with a major company or large corporate division
• Leadership: Recent experience in a supervisory or management role
• Technical Skills: Proficient in preparing and maintaining financial reporting documents (annual, quarterly, monthly)
• Tax Oversight: Supervise tax work paper preparation, collaborating with the Tax Director to meet deadlines
• Compliance Expertise: Experienced in reviewing and signing off on 1099 reports
• Client Relations: Skilled in budgeting for clients and managing estate planning to ensure compliance
• Teamwork: Strong communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
