We’re looking for a highly motivated professional with a strong existing client base to join our client, a top-tier organization, specializing in cargo transportation across the U.S. and worldwide. Our client has been a proven leader in freight transportation, offering transportation and logistics solutions to their customers for over 30 years.


The Business Development Executive will convert, grow, and maintain, their existing ground transportation client base and solicit new business in their efforts to achieve the organization's financial goals.


This role offers a unique, entrepreneurial opportunity within a dynamic and autonomous work environment, allowing you the flexibility to operate comfortably while working directly with the owner and senior leadership team. The position provides a competitive compensation package above industry standard, robust benefits, expense allowance, and additional perks!


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Education: High school diploma required; a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Logistics, Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven success in sales within the domestic ground freight forwarding industry, with an established client base in LTL (Less Than Truckload), Expedited, Domestic Air Freight, White Glove, or Final Mile services
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the North American transportation sector, including highway (domestic and cross-border), intermodal transport, and logistics
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT-based, end-to-end supply chain solutions management, and CRM systems


Benefits & Compensation:


  • $150,000 - $200,000+ OTE, with an uncapped commission structure!

Additional Information:


  • Work Environment: This is a highly independent role with the flexibility to work remotely
  • Travel: Frequent travel to client locations is expected
  • Requirements: A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain TSA security clearance (TWIC card) are necessary
  • Physical Demands: The role requires regular physical activity, including walking, sitting, using hands and fingers (e.g., for keyboarding), reaching with arms, speaking, and listening
  • Vision Requirements: The position requires specific visual abilities, including close and distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
