Job Summary
As the Director of Human Resources, you will oversee the HR department, lead employee relations, and drive strategic HR initiatives in support of the company’s mission. Your role will include managing talent acquisition, payroll (via Paylocity), benefits administration, and compliance. We seek a professional with a proven track record in HR leadership who is detail-oriented and thrives in a high-energy environment.
Director of HR Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives aligned with company goals
- Oversee all HR operations, including payroll processing, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance
- Ensure efficient use of HRIS, ATS, and Google Suite for HR operations and reporting
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to foster a positive work environment
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on organizational growth, workforce planning, and employee development
- Implement and manage performance review processes, employee engagement programs, and training initiatives
Director of HR Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- HRCI or SHRM Certification
- Minimum of 5+ years in an HR leadership role and 7+ years in an HR generalist role
- Demonstrated experience overseeing payroll functions; Paylocity experience preferred
- Proficient in Google Suite, ATS, and HRIS systems
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Bilingual in English and Spanish; additional languages are beneficial.
- Prior experience in hospitality or food production environments.
