General Manager Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years in a General Manager position within a customer-centered environment, with direct profit and loss accountability
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor team members to cultivate a skilled, high-performing group
- Approach management with an owner’s mentality, always seeking opportunities to drive growth for both the business and team members
- Oversee local marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and community engagement
- Lead by example in customer interaction and sales, ensuring a high-quality customer experience that encourages return visits and referrals
- Continuously review and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Monitor and interpret key financial indicators and P&L reports to maximize profitability and address any discrepancies
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of management teams, ensuring smooth and effective processes across the business.
- Promote and enforce safety standards to create a safe environment for both employees and customers
- Ensure thorough, ongoing training on safety protocols and emergency procedures for all staff
- Resolve complex customer concerns thoughtfully, balancing the interests of customers, employees, and business outcomes
- Demonstrate the ability to drive profitability while maintaining safety and exceptional service
- Track business metrics, identify performance gaps, and develop targeted strategies to address these areas effectively
