Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Controller to join our team, offering an extraordinary opportunity for a seasoned professional with 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting and finance. This role involves gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial data while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance department. Corporate role, with a desirable small-town environment, in Enid, Oklahoma. This role requires on-site officing. in Enid, OK, with assistance provided.


Controller Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will play a critical role in coordinating financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the general ledger, and leveraging strong business system skills.

Controller Key Responsibilities:

  • Set clear objectives and realistic goals, overseeing a support team of 9 Staff Accountants
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of financial statements monthly
  • Develop and maintain cash flow strategies across all companies
  • Ensure accurate balancing of bank statements each month
  • Conduct weekly inventory research and analysis

Controller Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)
  • CPA certification (preferred)
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, and business systems, especially QuickBooks, Excel, and PDI
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
