Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing complex engineering tasks, utilizing advanced design and engineering software to meet industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product development and provide essential support throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Senior Structural Engineer Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary range: $81,000 to $112,000

Senior Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
- Utilize cutting-edge engineering software and tools to design and execute structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards
- Provide technical support to various departments including drafting, sales, purchasing, manufacturing, installation, and customer service
- Lead or actively contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on product development, problem-solving, and improving cost-efficiency, product quality, and delivery timelines
- Offer on-site and remote technical assistance during installation and start-up phases to support customer service and project management
- Resolve inquiries related to code compliance and structural standards, ensuring alignment with regulations
- Conduct R&D activities to enhance product value, reduce costs, and drive the introduction of new structural solutions to market
- Handle complex engineering assignments, providing guidance, leadership, and mentorship to junior team members
- Continuously refine internal processes to improve the quality, precision, and efficiency of engineering operations
- Lead or contribute to technical evaluations throughout all project phases, from initial proposal through to production release
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, helping them develop the necessaryskills to contribute to the team's success
- Develop and analyze design concepts that comply with IBC and other relevant industry standards
Senior Structural Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field with 8–17 years of experience, Master’s Degree with 6-15 years of experience, or Associate Degree with 15+ years of experience
- Proven expertise in structural design, engineering technologies, and relevant industry standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and mentor junior engineers
- Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration and product lifecycle management
- Thorough understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry practices
