In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing bid requests to ensure estimates comply with technical, commercial, and contractual standards, and generate accurate cost estimates along with revised timelines. Lead Estimator - What you will be doing

• Produce precise cost estimates and communicate any delays with updated schedules
• Analyze bid inquiries to confirm estimates align with technical, commercial, and contractual requirements
• Create lump sum, budget, and detailed cost estimates for a variety of systems, including energy systems, heaters and more
• Generate comprehensive scopes of work and cost estimates across engineering, electrical, manufacturing, construction, and logistics functions
• Request and assess subcontractor bids, interpret technical drawings, and provide pricing take-offs
• Keep detailed records of estimates with the latest revisions and updates
• Ensure the final estimate remains consistent with the original bid after project award and participate in kick-off meetings

Lead Estimator - What you will bring

• 5-7 years of experience with an OEM or within a relevant industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• Proven ability to manage, communicate, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement
• Motivated self-starter with strong research capabilities and project management expertise
