Job Summary

We’re looking for a seasoned Plant Manager with extensive experience in production operations and team leadership to oversee a high-volume manufacturing facility specializing in wood packaging solutions. In this role, the Plant Manager will manage daily plant functions with a focus on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency. This position requires a hands-on leader dedicated to continuous improvement, who can drive process enhancements and manage resources effectively.


Key Responsibilities for the Plant Manager:

  • Lead all aspects of plant operations, prioritizing Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals to align with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee production scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure a steady supply of raw materials.
  • Address and resolve customer quality concerns, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and ISPM-15 standards.
  • Supervise maintenance operations and coordinate with contractors to maintain safe and efficient equipment function.

Qualifications for the Plant Manager:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Plant Manager or in a production/manufacturing leadership role.
  • Strong background in team management, production planning, and process optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of MLS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
