SaaS Sales Executive – Insurance Vertical
Our client, a growing insurtech is looking for a Sales Executive to join their organization. We are seeking a results-driven SaaS Sales Executive with deep expertise in the insurance industry to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business and expanding existing relationships by selling our SaaS solutions to insurance companies, including carriers, brokers, MGAs, and wholesalers.
You will leverage your industry knowledge to understand clients’ unique challenges and position our software as a strategic solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B SaaS sales with experience selling into the insurance sector, a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and the ability to build lasting relationships with insurance decision-makers.

SALES EXECUTIVE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 2+ years of experience selling into the insurance industry (carriers, brokers, MGAs, or insurtech firms).
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the insurance industry’s challenges, regulatory environment, and operational processes.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive B2B SaaS environment.
- Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to lead complex sales discussions with C-level executives, risk managers, underwriters, and IT professionals within the insurance sector.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions, especially those involving integrations with legacy insurance systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, persuasive manner.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive, self-starter who is driven by results and thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment.
SALES EXECUTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive Sales Growth: Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities with insurance carriers, brokers, and other industry players by selling our SaaS solutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the insurance industry, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.
- Consultative Selling: Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand the challenges insurance companies face and position our SaaS product as a solution that meets their regulatory, operational, and business needs.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about trends and changes in the insurance market, including emerging technologies, regulatory updates, and competitive developments, and use this knowledge to shape sales strategies.
- Collaborate Internally: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align efforts and deliver the best possible solutions for clients.
- Sales Process Management: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, using CRM tools to track sales activity, forecast revenue, and report on pipeline development.
- Product Expertise: Develop and maintain deep product knowledge, enabling you to effectively communicate the value proposition, features, and benefits of our software to potential clients.
