Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team in both pizza and line positions. This is a working role where you will be actively involved in cooking and running the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently.


Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Staff Management:
  • Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff.
  • Schedule shifts and conduct performance evaluations.
  1. Inventory and Cost Control:
  • Order supplies and manage inventory.
  • Monitor food costs and reduce waste.


Food Safety and Sanitation:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations while cooking alongside staff in a specific role.
  • Troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

Budgeting:

  • Manage the kitchen budget and control expenses.
  • Analyze financial performance and develop strategies for profitability.

Compliance and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and prepare reports.

Kitchen Manager Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for food.

Kitchen Manager Benefits:

  • Health Insurance stipend: $300/month ($3,600/year)
  • Simple IRA company match: Approximately 2.5% of pay ($1,625/year)
  • $100,000 Term Life Insurance policy
  • Christmas bonus: $500
  • Kitchen labor and food cost bonuses: TBD by January 1
