Hotel Banquet Chef Qualifications:

• 3+ years as a Banquet Chef in a hotel setting
• Experience special menus for events and parties
• Experience working directly with sales on special guest needs and requests
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage food and labor costs
• Excellent client-facing persona and presentation

Hotel Banquet Chef Responsibilities:

• Manage the banquet culinary team with consistency and integrity
• Organize BEOs to ensure timely and accurate execution of all events
• Create prep lists and assignments for the banquet team to ensure thorough preparations
• Work alongside the culinary team to prepare and execute events
• Communicate with operations and sales teams on timing and guest expectations
• Create menus and recipes with the Executive Chef
• Work with the sales team on capturing events and creating special menus
