Job Summary
Are you an experienced Executive Chef looking for a little more work/life balance? Seeking an opportunity to use your culinary creativity to benefit the lives of the guests? We are looking for an Executive Chef who values coordinating with the Food and Beverage Director to create a great guest experience.
As the Executive Chef, you will create three meals a day for a large luxury CCRC communities on the West Coast.

Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Exceed the expectations of every guest, every time
- Train, coach, and direct culinary team - set the standards high
- Heavy menu creativity required; frequent menu changes
- Continue excellence and quality of the current menu
- Build respectful relationships with every member of the team while holding them accountable
- Control all food costs, labor costs, inventory and manage high standards of service while paying acute attention to every detail
Executive Chef Qualifications:
- Degree in Culinary Arts (or 8 yrs combined culinary expertise)
- Must have 3+ years experience as Executive Chef managing kitchen staff
- Solid and proven leadership qualities: friendly, coach mentality, lead by example, and uphold community's culinary standards
- Proven ability to maintain standards and exceed expectations
- A warm, outgoing, and compassionate personality who is comfortable walking onto the dining floor and "table touch"
