We are a VC Start-Up Law Firm in NYC! We are looking for a CPA TAX Associate for our NYC-based company with heavy growth patterns in both domestic and international markets. We are looking for someone who is a leader and enjoys working with and leading teams. This person will directly report to the CEO and is responsible for the pre-tax analysis, and financial reporting of the Law Firm and their clients. Experience with AI, automated tools, and LLM is desired. This is a Hybrid role. Stock Options!

Accountant Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting staff by directing them to ensure all systems are current and in compliance with legal requirements in all markets
• Oversee the annual operating, capital, and program budgets
• Provide support for the achievement of business plans
• Oversee capital expenditure and initiatives
• Ensure robust financial forecasting and monitor and update the CEO
• Regulate that cash flow is on target with current company operations
• Make sure accounting project timelines are on time and adhere to our brand standards
• Evaluate current systems and determine if the implementation of new systems related to accounting and payroll is necessary
• Be a positive leader helping the company move forward

Accountant Qualifications

• 5-7 years as an Accountant or CPA
• Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration
• We will consider someone outside of the Law Field
• Proficiency in Excel, AI, or LLM
