Job Summary
A local hospitality group is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner. Our ideal candidate brings a broad depth of experience in Human Resources, possesses excellent attention to detail, and is fully committed to the personal growth of each team member at all levels.
Human Resources Business Partner Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Director of People Ops to create and implement a best-in-class training and hiring program for our managers
- Drive retention through innovative employee engagement initiatives
- Create and implement new Human Resources policies as needed
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws
- Ensure all team members receive fair treatment in the workplace
- Maintain great culture
- Compensation and benefits responsibilities
Human Resources Business Partner Qualifications:
- At least 5 years experience in a hospitality HR role
- SHRM certification appreciated
- Knowledge of COBRA and FMLA
- Knowledge of California laws
- Strong by the book leadership while being approachable and welcoming
- Experience with full and part time employees
- Experience with conflict resolution and negotiation
- Tech-savvy
