Environmental Compliance Engineer Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field required.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience with EPA and EPD compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Regulatory Expertise: Proficiency with Georgia EPD, EPA regulations, Title V of the Clean Air Act, RCRA, ISO 14001, and ESG practices.
- Compliance Management: Develop and implement environmental procedures and programs to ensure compliance and reduce risks.
- Technical Skills: Maintain EPA records, perform emissions calculations and analyses, and apply for federal and state grants.
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose environmental issues, develop contingency plans, and create new processes to increase efficiency.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication abilities; interact effectively across all organizational levels.
