Are you a detail-oriented engineer with a passion for precision and technical expertise? We are looking for a skilled Quoting Engineer to join our Sales Team and take charge of the estimation process for new parts. In this critical role, you’ll ensure accurate, timely quotes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent service and solutions to our customers.

As the primary estimator, you’ll directly impact our operations by providing reliable and efficient technical insights for new part launches. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze and optimize processes will be key in helping us maintain our commitment to accuracy and quality.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment (required)
• At least 2 years of estimating experience with machined parts (strongly preferred)
• Proficient with engineering drawings, print reading, and machine tooling practices
• Familiarity with GD&T principles
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Analytical problem solver with a keen eye for detail
• Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary estimator for technical inquiries and quotations
• Perform capability and print reviews, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Quality departments to address potential concerns
• Develop accurate processes and time estimates for machining, cleaning, and assembly operations
• Determine optimal material sizes and work holding methods for new processes
• Maintain a quote turnaround time of 48 hours for standard quotes, with an accuracy of +/- 10%
• Serve as the primary technical contact for both customers and suppliers
• Provide engineering with a nearly complete process handoff for new part launches
