Job Summary

We're seeking a full-time Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you'll handle a variety of engineering assignments for major projects or manage complete engineering responsibilities on smaller-scale projects. This role requires a motivated, creative problem-solver with strong engineering principles. You will report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. Apply today!


Process Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Develop process designs and deliverables, including process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, P&IDs, and specifications for process equipment
  • Design solutions for hydraulic, heat, and mass transfer issues, collecting and analyzing field data and customer information.
  • Perform engineering calculations manually or using PC software
  • Size and specify equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels, providing support to mechanical engineers on specifications and designs
  • Communicate regularly with project teams to convey technical information, address issues, and ensure timely solutions that align with project goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, customers, vendors, and contractors, through various communication channels

Process Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or a similar field) from an ABET-accredited program
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
  • Strong understanding of process systems control philosophy, including P&ID development
  • Extensive knowledge of fluid transfer, heat exchange, and piping system friction loss, including design and operation
