Key Responsibilities and Requirements for Materials Coordinator:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within an operational setting, with a strong foundation in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and Quality Assurance (QA) practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership: Oversee and coordinate the materials team, including tasks like scheduling, training, and managing performance.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and sustain optimal inventory levels; implement and maintain inventory management systems (familiarity with ISO 9000 is advantageous).
- Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing, production, and quality control departments. Must have exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
