We are looking for a talented and energetic Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious club in New York City. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fine-dining environment with a focus on Latin cuisine. Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years of experience in upscale restaurants, demonstrating strong culinary skills and leadership potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily kitchen operations
• Support the development and execution of menus
• Ensure quality and consistency in food preparation
• Help lead and motivate the kitchen team, fostering a positive work environment
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, complying with health regulations
• Aid in controlling food costs and managing inventory
• Collaborate with the management team to deliver excellent guest experiences

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in upscale restaurants
• Background in fine-dining is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen staff and operations effectively
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience working in NYC restaurants is preferred
• Formal culinary training or equivalent work experience
