Job Summary
Prominent highly-rated Restaurant is looking for a Sous Chef who loves scratch cooking! This is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for executing vision while assisting the Executive Chef in directing, motivating, and leading your team to excellent results.
Restaurant Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Maintaining high levels of food quality, hygiene, and consistency
- Support the team to execute tasks on time with enthusiasm
- Mentoring and teaching others techniques
- Ability to manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge while promoting culture and values
- Comply with all county and state laws governing food service operations
Restaurant Sous Chef Requirements:
- 2+ years of scratch upscale full-service Restaurant Sous Chef experience
- High energy, takes initiative, and has a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
- Great cook with experience in upscale or fine dining scratch kitchens
- Must be passionate about food and executing consistency
- Must be passionate about cleanliness and food safety
- Open to working days, nights, and weekends
