Job Summary

Engineering Firm in the Hamptons! We are a growing Eastern Long Island-based firm looking for a Professional Structural Engineer/PM to join our team. This person has 5–10 years of experience with high-end residential experience. We offer a healthy relocation package. Structural Engineer Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
  • 5+years of Structural Residential Engineering experience.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a professional attitude and ability to work well with other professionals and contractors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise letters, memoranda, technical reports, and figures.
  • Experience in site development, grading, stormwater design, erosion & sediment control.
  • Responsive attitude when interacting with staff, peers, management, and clients.
  • Experience preparing design drawings using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction training is a plus.

Structural Engineer Qualifications

  • Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects
  • Conducting site visits and assisting with construction oversight
  • Civil engineering for site design including grading and drainage design, and utility design site
  • Assist with the preparation of permitting, design, and construction documents
  • Preparing plans and technical documents and reports
