Job Summary

We are currently searching for an Architectural Design Manager to join a global construction firm. This manager will have solid architectural design experience and will manage the effective communication between the design and construction teams.


Architectural Design Manager Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the design phase of construction projects, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality standards while coordinating with stakeholders for design feasibility.
  • Facilitate communication between design and construction teams, conducting constructability reviews, overseeing design documents, and managing design changes to meet project goals.
  • Integrate advanced technologies and explore prefabrication and modularization opportunities, enhancing project value and mitigating design risks.
  • Participate in project strategies, organize workshops, and ensure quality control, leveraging design software and project management tools.

Architectural Design Manager Requirements:


  • Licensed Architect in the State of Washington
  • BS in Architecture or Engineering
  • 12 year of experience in design management within AEC industry
  • Diverse portfolio with projects including healthcare, K-12, higher ed, and life science projects ranging from $30M – 500M in size.
  • ALL RESIDENTIAL OR COMMERCIAL TENANT IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS ARE NOT A MATCH
  • Ground-up project experience is required

Architectural Design Manager Benefits:
