Job Summary

The Area Director of Revenue Management is responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities across multiple properties by developing and implementing strategic pricing and inventory management strategies. This role involves analyzing market trends, forecasting demand, and optimizing room rates, promotions, and distribution channels. The Area Director collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure profitability and competitive positioning while maintaining guest satisfaction. Additionally, they provide leadership to revenue management teams, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and present actionable insights to senior management.

Area Director of Revenue Management Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies for multiple properties.
  • Analyze market conditions, booking trends, and competitive data.
  • Optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations).
  • Monitor performance metrics, including RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy.
  • Provide training and leadership to property revenue management teams.
  • Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. 

Area Director of Revenue Management Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in revenue management, ideally in a multi-property or area role within a Hotel or resort setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in revenue management systems (RMS).
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-oriented mindset.
