Job Summary
Our long-standing restaurant group is looking to add a Pastry Chef to our team to support our current and new restaurants. We are looking for someone with upscale and/or fine-dining Pastry Chef experience in restaurants.
Pastry Chef Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Executive Chefs to create innovative new dishes in multiple concepts
- Involved in planning production schedules and ensuring quality standards are met
- Training Sous Chefs and line cooks in pastry techniques and presentation
- Financial accountability, inventory management
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Pastry Chef Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in managing a high-volume, upscale or fine-dining restaurant environment
- Demonstrated administrative abilities in inventory control, costing, and forecasting
- Experience with 7M or more in volume
- Polish and professionalism
- Portfolio of creative work highlighting seasonal ingredients
