ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical support

Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting system and network issues, and receiving, prioritizing, and resolving end user requests 

Network management

Analyze, test, and troubleshoot network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and cloud networks 

Security

Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems, including protecting customer data from outside infiltration 

Maintenance

Perform diagnostic tests and maintenance procedures, and develop innovative network troubleshooting methods to reduce downtime 

Software and hardware

Install and configure software and hardware components of computer and network systems 

Documentation

Update technical documentation to reflect changes in system configurations and settings 

Project involvement

Work on specific projects, such as software development or network setup 

Communication

Manage communications between vendors and staff related to system down time
