What You'll Do:

• Accurately prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Review financial documents like income statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy
• Identify potential deductions, credits, and opportunities to maximize client benefits
• Communicate directly with clients, addressing their tax-related questions and gathering information
• Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations
• Use accounting software (QuickBooks, Drake) to input and analyze financial data
• Correspond with the IRS to handle tax notices and resolve issues
• Support financial reporting, monitor expenses, and reconcile accounts
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and month-end reporting

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA license
• 4+ years of experience in financial accounting, tax preparation, or related roles
• Expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
