Job Summary

We are one of the fastest-growing Fast-Casual Restaurant groups in the world! We are looking for a CPA Hospitality Controller for our NYC-based company with heavy growth patterns in both domestic and international markets. 170K-180K plus possible franchise royalties. We are looking for someone who is a leader and enjoys working with and leading teams. This person will directly report to the CEO and is responsible for the accounting, payroll, taxes, and financial reporting of the restaurant group. Must have Franchise experience and a CPA license!

 

Director of Finance Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting staff by directing them to ensure all systems are current and in compliance with legal requirements in all markets
  • Oversee the annual operating, capital, and program budgets
  • Provide support for the achievement of business plans
  • Oversee capital expenditure and initiatives
  • Ensure robust financial forecasting and monitor and update the CEO
  • Regulate that cash flow is on target with current company operations
  • Regulate Payroll Processing, and expense reports process
  • Make sure accounting project timelines are on time and adhere to our brand standards
  • Oversee all-new restaurant accounting systems
  • Evaluate current systems and determine if the implementation of new systems related to accounting and payroll is necessary
  • Lead the team for hiring and training all unit-level staff
  • Be a positive leader helping the company move forward

Director of Finance Qualifications

  • 7 or more years as a controller, a CPA license is required
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration
  • We will consider someone outside of the hospitality field that meets the qualifications
  • Proficiency in Excel
