Tool & Die Maker Benefits:

Tool & Die Maker Responsibilities:

• Build injection molds
• Operate machinery for the repair and fabrication of both new and existing tools.
• Machine precision components and parts for injection molds.
• Troubleshoot, repair, or redesign tooling as needed.

Tool and Die Maker Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of experience with CNC mills or lathes, including setup.
• Proficient in using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, optical comparators, thread gauges, etc.).
• Familiarity with SolidWorks and Mastercam.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
• Experience in MIG, TIG, and laser micro-welding.
• Capability in 3 & 5-axis CNC milling.
• CNC RAM and CNC Wire EDM programming experience.
