Manual Machinist Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and layout jobs while calculating shrinkage and expansion allowances.
• Execute complex machining operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues
• Recommend modifications to tooling
• Set up, program, and operate EDM equipment and advanced CNC machine tools
• Collaborate with the engineering team on tooling and prototype improvements.

Manual Machinist Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of manual machining
• Proficient in manual milling & lathe
• Strong ability to read blueprints
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gage, & optical comparators
