Our client is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist for their Northern Chicago Suburbs office to manage full-cycle accounting processes, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and billing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in corporate accounting.

Accounting Specialist Benefits and Compensation:

Accounting Specialist Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Process A/P and A/R transactions, including vendor payments, client invoices, and bank deposits
• Manage billing, credit card transactions, and prepare quarterly commission payments
• Assist leadership with cash position updates and financial reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in A/P, A/R, billing, or similar roles
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
