Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Kitchen Team: Train, mentor, and inspire staff to achieve excellence
  • Foster a Positive Work Environment: Build respectful relationships while upholding accountability and integrity
  • Maintain High Standards: Oversee all kitchen operations with a focus on consistency, quality, and attention to detail
  • Ensure Exceptional Guest Experiences: Lead your team to create memorable dining experiences every time
  • Manage a High-Volume Environment: Keep operations running smoothly under pressure
  • Oversee Inventory and Cost Control: Manage portion sizes, recipe adherence, and control waste to meet financial goals

Kitchen Manager Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a Kitchen Manager, Executive Sous Chef, or similar leadership role in a high-volume, systems-driven casual or upscale-casual environment
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead by example with a friendly, coaching mentality
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a busy, high-energy setting
  • Proven Results: Track record of maintaining high standards and building strong relationships
  • Inventory & Ordering Experience: Must have a background in managing food costs and ordering
  • Safety & Sanitation: Commitment to strict safety and sanitation standards
  • Hands-On & Solution-Oriented: A proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic
