Job Summary
Seeking a Fine Dining Service Director to lead the FOH staff for a Michelin Starred Restaurant Group. The ideal candidate will have worked in Michelin star restaurants, and will understand that standard. This is an amazing opportunity to join one of the most innovative teams in hospitality.
Service Director Responsibilities:
- Oversee the restaurant's service standards are consistently met when new service standards are set and overall training of the dining room staff.
- Communicate and coordinate all service changes/steps of service to the team and ensure that all guests receive impeccable service throughout their experience
- Ensure the dining room is set properly, and service pieces are in the correct order/place and maintained.
- Responsible for the training and growth of the maitre’d in their role.
Service Director Requirements:
- Fine Dining FOH 1–3 years
- Leadership skills
- Well spoken, charming personality
- Stellar with table side service
- Strong sense of Luxury style hospitality
- Great track record as a team player
- Solid developmental skills
- Must have exceptional Guest-centric skills
- Able to function well in a fast-paced, high stress environment
- Multi-tasking should be second nature
- Vast knowledge of food cuisines and wines
- Strong skills in all things Microsoft and a knowledge of accounting and cost-management
- Proficient command of the English language, as well as knowledge of relevant languages in the field of wine
