An historic Ivy League college in the Northeast is actively seeking a Custodial Services Director. As a key leader in our Facilities Operations & Management team, you will oversee custodial operations across our historic and beautiful campus. Custodial Services Director Benefits:

Custodial Services Director Qualifications:


  • 8+ years managing a large team of custodial services personnel
  • Experience managing in a union environment
  • Higher education experience preferred
  • Ability to manage custodial needs at all levels - students, faculty, and other campus customers

Custodial Services Director Responsibilities:


  • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Lead a team dedicated to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for students, faculty, and staff
  • Develop and implement cleaning protocols and service strategies that align with the college's sustainability and operational goals
  • Manage budgets, staff training, and performance, while driving innovation in custodial services
  • Evaluates all new construction plans before bid approval to confirm compliance with housekeeping standards.
