Job Summary

We are seeking a managing producer to join our growing insurance firm, which specializes in sourcing and providing insurance for the non-profit world. If you have an active CA Life and Health license, at least 7 years of experience in employee benefits, and experience managing a department, we would love to speak with you!

Responsibilities for the Managing Producer:

  • Hire, train, and mentor new Employee Benefit Producers
  • Create and manage department budget
  • Establish and enforce department goals and objectives
  • Create and implement departmental control processes
  • Oversee production, pricing, and retention for the department
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with MGA's, carriers, and vendors
  • Negotiate and approve contracts
  • Appoint managers and delegate responsibilities


Qualifications for the Managing Producer:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in employee benefits and managing a department
  • Experience with non-profits a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Experience in insurance agencies that provide employee benefits products
  • Reside in California
