Hotel Executive Chef Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as an Executive Chef at a hotel with multiple outlets and large-scale events
- A hands-on leadership approach
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage labor and food costs through P&L oversight
- Expertise in team leadership, motivation, and development
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Hotel Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of all banquet events
- Ensure all food and beverage outlets operate at their best
- Provide training and coaching to staff, fostering their growth
- Offer feedback and hold the team accountable to maintain high standards
- Manage staffing, hiring, and training as necessary to keep kitchens fully operational
- Handle food procurement and comply with purchasing programs
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained
- Work with the GM and Accounting to develop budgets
- Adhere to all local and state food service regulations
