Job Summary

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Restaurant Multi-Unit Manager of Facilities will oversee the maintenance, repair, renovations, and upgrades for all properties owned by the company, including three active restaurant locations and one under construction. This role is crucial for ensuring that all facilities meet company standards and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Building, Equipment, and Parking Maintenance:

  • Conduct quarterly inspections of all facilities.
  • Verify that scheduled preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to company facility standards and specifications by restaurant management.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent operational disruptions.
  • Negotiate and submit all facilities contracts to the corporate office for approval.
  • Provide concise weekly status reports to the CEO.

2. Renovations and Upgrades:

  • Develop budgets and scopes of work with detailed specifications for renovations.
  • Manage the bidding process for contractors, utilizing company forms.
  • Submit contractor bids to the COO for review and approval.
  • Oversee and manage renovation work to ensure compliance with company standards.

Reports To:

  • COO

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in restaurant facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices.
  • Ability to analyze budgets and manage expenses effectively.
