Job Summary

Seeking a Vermont Licensed Chief PE to join our growing team!


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering team in project planning and execution.
  • Create and review engineering calculations related to loads, stresses, and structural integrity.
  • Provide expert engineering advice throughout various project stages.
  • Develop and review documents required for state permitting processes.
  • Collaborate with architects and other professional staff to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Oversee and inspect contractor work to ensure it meets design specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor construction progress and provide final approval for project completion.
  • Conduct property inspections to assess the condition of structures and foundations.
  • Perform reserve and transition studies for Homeowners’ Associations (HOAs).
  • Carry out enhanced building inspections for quality assurance.
  • Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Required; Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Geotechnical preferred).
  • Active Professional Engineering License in Vermont (Required).
  • 5–10 years of practical experience as an engineering consultant or professional.
  • Experience in construction management or architectural engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in computer software relevant to engineering tasks.
